The Don Knotts Show was a variety program aired by NBC as part of its 1970-71 lineup.Long relegated to the role of sidekick, which he had portrayed for many years in several television series and films, Don Knotts was the headliner here. Each week, he and his guests put on standard TV variety fare of the era. Two recurring features were a skit about the effort involved in putting a weekly television series on the air, much in the spirit of The Jack Benny Show, and The Front Porch, in which Don and a guest would sit in rocking chairs and quietly discuss their philosophies of life. Notable regulars in his cast included Elaine Joyce and Gary Burghoff, who had previously portrayed "Radar O'Reilly" in the film version of M*A*S*H and was about to achieve his greatest fame in reprising that role for the television version of it.

TV's former "Barney Fife", Don Knotts, hosted this variety show that contained a bit of music, but mostly comedy skits and sketches featuring Knotts, guest stars and a talented supporting cast. One regular bit was called "The Front Porch", which consisted of Knotts and that week's guest rocking on a porch and talking.

Jake Gideon, the desperate owner of Cloud Commotion, is trying to salvage his company after a hacker leaks nude celebrity photos stored on the company's servers. The twist? The hacker is someone at Cloud Commotion. Not only is Jake under attack from the media, the public, the FBI, and the actress herself, but by those closest to him as well. Marshall, Jake's business partner and ex-father-in-law, is always looking to humiliate his former son-in-law. Anna, his 2nd in command, and bitter ex-lover, would love nothing more than to take over the company she helped start. Elliot, the shy computer nerd, is hopelessly in love with Tiffany, Jake's under-the-radar girlfriend. Everywhere Jake turns, he doesn't know if he is surrounded by trusted friends or colleagues with agendas. Who is trying to sabotage his life? Can he find the hackers in time save his company, and more importantly, the only life he's ever known? Or will mysterious forces be his downfall?
